Have you ever wondered how strangely silent the clergy has been about all the political upheaval that's been going in the last few years? Just ask yourself what you would do if you were in power and you wanted to take down an otherwise healthy country. Wouldn't you want to get control of their churches? We know that the three letter agencies have infiltrated mosques both here in the U.S. and throughout the world, so why wouldn't they do it to churches here?
In the mid-nineties I worked for a courier service over in Dallas which only hired people from the various seminaries and bible colleges in the area, so I got to know tons of wannabe preachers in the five years I was there, and it didn't take long to figure out that at least a third of them were spooks.
A lot of them (but not all by any means) seem to have been recruited out of the military. Just look at any preacher who came into the clergy straight out of the military, and you can bet your boots they're bad actors.
... and of course, it's not just the Catholics. If they do it to them, they do it to everyone else.
